Touch sensor
I ordered a sound senor online, but have no idea when I will receive it, so I have to experiment other possible ways for the mouth piece of the instrument. When someone is playing the trumpet, he should blow air into the mouth piece. At the same time, his lips will contact the mouth piece. So even if I don't use any sensor to detect the air, but use a touch sensor to detect if the lips touch the sensor, the all instrument will still work. A simple way of making a touch sensor was found through researches. CapSense uses a very high Ohm resistor to detect human touch, and a piece of foil could be used to increase the sensitivity. But, the analog value reading from this sensor wasn't stable at all, and it will not be the right sensor for my instrument. Waiting for my sound sensor, do more experimenting at the some time.
