THE ASSASIN......THE WINNER......

Our team won both of the competitions within last 2 days. The character is The Assassin, so our concept is "Simple, but get the job done". In the fact, this idea worked very well.

For the first robot, as it was our first time to build a Lego robot, so we followed the instruction, built a very basic robot. But we added a bumper and a wheel at the front, and also added a ultrasound sensor. The ultrasound could detect objects in front of the robot, so the robot would turn to another direction. The bumper and the wheel could protect the robot from hitting any objects and the wheel could help robot turning easily if it hit any objects.

For the second robot, we made it extremely simple, we only used about 30 pieces of Lego parts to build this robot. Then we designed a very simple program to run the robot. But, as the robot didn't have any sensors, to test and adjust the program took our quite a lot time. At first, it was very hard to find the prefect rotations and turns, as every time, the robot was on different track. But, finally we found, the very important was the first position of the robot we placed.

I was very happy to work with Zoe, Oliver and Jason. And now we are working on another project, wish we can make another awesome robot this time!
