The first step of my project is to get the microphone work with Arduino. And this is the most important step of my project, as I have never tried microphone with Arduino before.
Firstly, I treated the microphone as a LDR, put it on a simple circuit and the value form both digital and analog reading were both useless. Then I did some researches on the internet, the answer was I need to have a amplifier to get the microphone give some useable values to Arduino. I am not familiar with all the electronic components, so I decided to buy a microphone from Mindkits, hopefully I will get it before the due date, otherwise I will delete microphone part for my instrument.
