Behind the screen
I am thinking to create a "space" for the installation. Outside the space, a display will be showing the image with symmetry effects. Inside the space, the camera will detect the viewer and capture the image of the viewer's. When any viewer walks into the space, the projection will change from the live image of the viewer to the images with symmetry effects by every 6 seconds. The display is the final image which the installation will get, and the space gives the full explanation of processing of the images. The display could attract the viewers to get into the space, in such a way, the viewers will get engaged with the installation. The installation will give 2 perspectives for viewer to see the relationship between the digital image and the physical objects. First, the display outside of the space gives the viewers an experience of the relationship from a third person point of view. Second, the space let the viewers to experience the relationship by themselves.
