After I saw the footages from both cameras, I found that, the bottom camera was easily blocked by the dog's head. So I decide to put both of the footages in one screen. In this way, even when the dog's head blocks the camera, the audience can still see what in front of the dog by the top part of the video. Another reason was that, I thought if I only use the bottom camera's footage as the dog's point of view, there will not enough view. Same as man's view, it's too wide for a single camera to capture. When combining both camera's footages, there was more view, and the top camera's footage can represent the dog's view when the dog looks up. I also changed the both footages into black and white, as I know dog can't see colour. I think through this way, the audience can feel more like they are watching the dog's point of view. Other than colour correction, I did not put any other footage, as my idea was to let the audience focus on the footages itself rather than the cool effects. Even the raw footages are very interesting. It took me a long time to match the top and bottom footage perfectly, as they from two cameras, did not use the same time code, and they were both quite shaky. It was very interesting for me to see the edited video, because by watching the video, I can see the city from a dog's point of view. Specially, I can see the people who are living in this city, and also the reactions of the people when they see a dog with two cameras on its back.
