Surprisingly, this was the most difficult part. "How can a video represent a feeling?" this question had stuck in my head for few days. Because this was my first time try to make videos by myself, and I didn't have any experience at all, I didn't even realize to choose a background music for a video was so difficult.
After a lot of brainstorming, I decided to use a heart with face to represent the feeling. Because when people is having a feeling, it may can't tell from the face, but it definitely can tell from the heart. And I used different color for different feelings, warm color for the happy and excited feeling, cold color for the angry feeling. To add more details to the video, I chose some extra elements for the videos. I used fireworks for happy feeling, Sun for excited feeling, flames for angry feeling, each of the elements can represent for a feeling.
There were a few problems about shooting. Because it is a stop motion video, I have to take only one frame at a time, then spent lot of time to reposition the Play-Doh pieces, then took another frame. Sometimes, I spent more then 5 minutes to reposition the pieces, and it only gave me one frame.
Different music can make people have different feelings, so to choose a right background music for the video is also very important. As I was not professional in the music, what I did was to listen to the loops in Garageband, then found one match the feeling. It took me a while to decide a background music.
